Meñakoz, is a wild beach of medium size, not urbanized, made up of gravel and stone. It belongs to the municipalities of Sopela and Barrika, although it is somewhat far from the urban center, near the road that goes to Plentzia from Sopela.

In its 400 meters in length, this nudist beach has little sand and plenty of stones. It is open to the sea, and is windy and has strong waves, ideal for expert surfers due to its rocky bottom, and medium occupation, surrounded by a high cliff covered with vegetation, meadows and orchards, in which you have to bathe carefully.

It is perfect for those looking for solitary and quiet spaces, and you can practice nudism.

It hosts a world famous big wave, only for experts. It is a right that holds great size, 5-6 meters surfable, with a lot of strength and barrel sections. It breaks in front of a cliff and the rocks accentuate its danger.

In addition, this stretch of the Biscayan coast offers us the possibility of taking pleasant walks along its spectacular cliffs, covered in a green mantle, which attract attention due to their beauty.
